One Big Cruise
Berlin’s natural water world
Berlin isn’t often thought about as a city on the water, but with the mighty Spree flowing through the city and almost 1000 bridges (that’s more than Venice), the river plays a big part in the city’s life and history. You will travel by private motor cruiser on the river spree, which is meandering through the modern, old, ugly, beautiful, romantic, idyllic and historical parts of the metropolis.
On the way, you will cross the former border between West and East Berlin and discover major Berlin sights along the river. Your private guide will showcase the different neighborhoods and the must-see attractions like Museum Island, Nikolaiviertel, the new government district that is home to the Reichstag, the new central railway station, the Federal President’s official residence and the emerging area “Mediaspree” and O2 World arena.
If you’ve seen Berlin by land, this tour is a great way to see the city from a new perspective and find many tucked-away secrets that can only be detected by boat!
